STEP 1: Download the Brilliant app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

STEP 2: Follow the Step-by-Step installation instructions from the launch screen or by going into Settings in your Brilliant App.

The Plug-In Home Control Panel can be mounted on any wall and plugs into any outlet. No neutral and ground wires required. Run cable on-wall or in-wall.

What kind(s) of wall can I mount this to?

The Plug-In Wall Mount Control can be mounted to standard household walls made of stucco, drywall, wood, or brick.

For mounting to drywall, you can use the provided wall anchors if you are unable to mount the device to a stud.

For wood or stucco walls, you can use the provided self-tapping screws to drill the mount to your wall.

For brick or stone walls, we would recommend drilling a pilot hole prior to mounting with the provided wall anchors.

Can I mount this where a light switch would be?

The Brilliant Plug-in Control can be mounted to walls near entry ways and exit points of your home < 13 feet away from a power outlet or surge protector. You can also replace an existing light switch by mounting the device to the junction box your existing light switch uses.

How far away can the power outlet be from the Control?

Ideally the power outlet is less than 13 feet away from the plug in mounted control. If you would like to learn more about extending the distance, please contact customer support

Will this work with my existing Brilliant Controls?

Yes, Your Plug-In Control will be able to join your existing home.

If you already have a Brilliant Control, Smart Dimmer Switch, or smart plug you can use the Plug-In Control sliders to control these devices.

What devices can I control with this device?

If you already have a Brilliant Control, Smart Dimmer Switch, or smart plug you can use the Plug-In Control sliders to control these devices.

You can also control your third-party devices like your Philips Hue bulbs, Lifx Bulbs, Ring Doorbell, and Google Nest Cameras. View all compatible third party devices here
