Greater Seattle, Washington-based SwitchOn Pro started with the idea of making technology accessible and enhancing lives through smart tech solutions. Founded in 2018 by husband and wife team, Erika and Adam Bresson. Erika, an educator, and Adam, who was a former sales, marketing, and product management professional at Microsoft. SwitchOn Pro initially focused on complex smart home systems that required clients to make considerable financial investments and weren’t easy or intuitive to add new devices or adjust automations without a truck roll. When Adam met Brilliant in 2020, everything changed. His mission became clear—to offer a “Smart Home for Everyone”, providing smart solutions that are as affordable as they are intuitive.

Adam’s technology career was going well, but he felt far removed from the customers he wanted to help. Taking his affinity for tech, his passion for delivering an amazing customer experience, and using it to help customers create fantastic smart home experiences (That just work!) was an area in which he knew he could excel. His new clients were seeking ways to make their smart homes more helpful for their needs and to easily integrate with the wide variety of new smart home devices that were emerging on the market. But they disliked needing a technician to spend excess time downloading drivers to install and personalize their systems - or even worse, suffer through a months-long system installation.
