Brilliant NextGen Inc. today announced a new integration with Ring Alarm, expanding its support for Ring devices within the Brilliant Smart Home System. This integration gives homeowners and professional installers seamless control of their Ring Alarm security system directly from Brilliant's in-wall control panels and mobile app, creating a more unified and powerful smart home security experience.
Arm and disarm Ring Home Security from Brilliant Control or mobile app
With this new capability, users can now add their Ring Alarm as a device in the Brilliant system to arm and disarm it from any room. The system supports "Home" and "Away" modes, which can be activated directly from a Brilliant Control panel or the Brilliant mobile app. This integration also allows for live camera viewing from Ring devices on any Brilliant Control, providing immediate visual access to the home's surroundings.

When adding Ring device control to their Brilliant Systems, users can automate security features to improve their smart home security experience.”
Create a security scene automation with Ring and Brilliant
This collaboration enables the creation of powerful and convenient security scenes. For example, users can automate a "welcome home" scene that simultaneously unlocks a compatible smart lock, disarms the Ring Alarm system, and turns on lights when you arrive home from work. Conversely, a "leaving home" scene can be configured to lock all doors and set the alarm to "Away" mode with a single command. (To maintain security, scene activation requires the use of the Ring PIN.) These features provide a more complete and automated security setup, simplifying daily routines for homeowners.
The integration also offers benefits for professional installers. Dealers can now consolidate their clients' entire Ring Home Security setup into the Brilliant system, eliminating the need for customers to switch between multiple apps. Furthermore, professionals can use Brilliant’s ProView remote monitoring platform to oversee and troubleshoot their clients' integrated Ring products, enhancing customer support and system reliability.
