As the world slowly returns to pre-pandemic life, we’re all spending more time away from home. But porch pirates are waiting on them too! It doesn’t matter where you are, they’re waiting on your packages.

Here are 3 ways smart home devices can keep help keep you and your items and your home safe while you’re away:

Smart locks: That order you’ve been waiting for, for weeks? Don’t let it sit outside, ready for porch pirates. Manage access to your home for delivery drivers to allow them to place the package securely within your home.
Smart switches and bulbs: Keep burglars on their toes with smart lighting that adjusts based on the time of day. Either pre-create scheduled timers and Scenes that turn lights on/off to simulate occupancy or adjust lighting from the Brilliant mobile app from wherever you are.
Indoor or Outdoor Smart cams: Check-in from home or away to see who’s there, replay past footage, and even talk two-way with anyone who may be stopping by. Some cams even have floodlights making them ideal for nighttime security use.

Outsmarting porch pirates doesn’t have to be costly either– you can purchase all of the devices above, for under $100 each! Look for them on BestBuy.com, HomeDepot.com, and Amazon.com -- all sites you can purchase Brilliant as well.
